Bergdorf Goodman, the iconic New York department store collaborates with Salon Art + Designfor a curated furniture and lifestyle exhibition on its seventh floor. Running through April 13, 2025, this immersive showcase reimagines the traditional exhibition format by displaying art and design pieces in a home-like setting.

The exhibition features an impressive selection of works from esteemed galleries, including Onishi Gallery, Room 57 Gallery, J. Lohmann Gallery, Liz O’Brien, Verso, and Galerie Gabriel. Visitors can explore a diverse range of contemporary ceramics, fine art, and groundbreaking 20th-century designs.

Among the featured artists is Brooklyn-based glass artist Josh Raiffe, whose work has appeared in renowned galleries and publications such as Habatat Gallery and Elle magazine. At Bergdorf Goodman, Raiffe is showcasing his signature glass handbag collection, an innovative fusion of fashion and sculpture. His glass bag concept first emerged in 2022 during his collaboration with Coperni for Paris Fashion Week. Since then, he has continued to push creative boundaries, experimenting with designs like spiked bags, chrome finishes, and drink-inspired aesthetics.

The artist’s striking glass bags have captured the attention of celebrities like Doja Cat and Kylie Jenner, who have been spotted carrying the fashionably fragile accessories. Their viral appeal has further cemented Raiffe’s reputation as a trailblazer in contemporary design.

Raiffe’s work exemplifies the evolving intersection of art, fashion, and craftsmanship, redefining the possibilities of glass as both a medium and a statement piece. His presence at Bergdorf Goodman’s exhibition is just one example of the innovative talent showcased at the exhibition site. As the showcase continues to captivate audiences, Raiffe’s glass handbags stand as a testament to creativity, challenging conventional notions of luxury and inspiring a new era of wearable art.
